Out of the 12 days already posted, I’ve managed to squeak out enough time to create one 2-page scrapbook layout and two individual scrapbook pages…which makes me happy, happy, happy!

I’ve already shared the 2-page scrapbook layout I made…click here to see it. Here is my take on the Day 1 sketch using Close To My Heart’s May Special paper packet called, Dream Pop, which is only available until May 31st or while supplies last. I am absolutely loving this paper packet!

These banners on the page are actually printed right on! I added a touch of Silver Shimmer Trim at the top.

What do you think about all the photos I got on this scrapbook page? Check out statigram.com, especially if you are already using Instagram. You can download a Facebook Timeline cover of a collage of your Instagrams. I decided to print one of them and use on my page.

I started the Day 1 sketch, but haven’t found the pictures I want to print yet, so this afternoon, I finished up the Day 2 sketch and I wanted to share it with you today because earlier this morning, I got the idea for the photos and title, and then I couldn’t wait to finish the page! So, here it is…

I grabbed my bag of ‘Dream Pop’ scraps and a sheet of White Daisy Cardstock along with the coordinating accessories that I am using in my ‘Dream Pop’ Online Workshop. I wanted to make sure I could show you the value of purchasing the necessary supplies for the workshop, because you will have plenty of product leftover to make a lot of other items, like this scrapbook page.

The title of my page was created using the Cricut® Artiste Collection with some Keyboard Kraft Alphabet letters.

I also incorporated a cool technique that I learned at the Close To My Heart Album Retreat this past Spring using an ink pad and water brush. See the splatter effects on the White Daisy Cardstock? Cool, huh? I will be sharing a short video tutorial on Wednesday showing you how to create this effect yourself. I also wanted you to see how amazing the glossy embossed cardstock is in the ‘Dream Pop’ Paper Packet! See it glistening in the light? You will receive 6 new colors of cardstock with 6 different glossy embossed patterns in the ‘Dream Pop’ Paper Packet…two of each color/pattern!

My photos are of my completely full kitchen sink of dirty dishes, piles of dirty and clean laundry, and my toilet in the process of being cleaned. Sorry if that is a little too much information, I’m just trying to keep it real! To add some visual direction to the page, I used some wooden shaped arrows and clear sparkles. The arrows help direction the readers eye around the page. Just wanted to show one last time that awesome glossy embossed cardstock!
