This month I’m sharing a sweet treat using the October Stamp of the Month!
I love combining Close To My Heart and CHOCOLATE!!!
These fun treat bags will make the perfect stocking stuffers this Christmas.
The supplies I used to make them are the October Stamp of the Month, Pear & Partridge Paper Packet, Cranberry & Olive ink pads, Almond Glitter Glitz Get, Wilton Pretzel Bags & Hershey Nuggets.
Here’s a little tutorial to help you make your own…
Covered Hershey Nuggets: Cut Pear & Partridge B&T Duos paper to 1″ x 3″. Put sticky tape on each end & wrap Hershey Nugget.
Paper Tray: Cut Cranberry cardstock to 2-1/2″ x 4-7/8″ and then score length-wise at 5/8″ on each side. Fold and insert Covered Hershey Nuggets.
Bag Toppers: Cut topper using Olive cardstock with Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge. Use card shape on pg 45 of Cricut Art Philosophy booklet. Select Card + Shift + <Rctngle6>. Cut at 2-1/2″ and fold. Next, use October Stamp of the Month ‘A Holiday Treat’ shape on pg 79 of Cricut Artiste booklet. Select Accent 4 + Shift + ‘Noel’ key. Cut at 1-3/4″. Stamp October Stamp of the Month ‘A Holiday Treat’ onto coordinating shape using Cranberry ink pad. Fill in the dots on the stamped image using Almond Glitter Glitz Gel and set aside to dry. Stamp a second ‘A Holiday Treat’ image on scrap cardstock using Olive ink pad and cut out center circle with message. Adhere this to Cranberry stamped image (when gel is dry) using 3-D Foam Tape. Adhere the stamped image onto the Olive cardstock piece using a glue dot and allow top portion to hang over.
To complete the treat bag: Insert Covered Hershey Nuggets with Paper Trey inside Wilton Pretzel Bag. Trim off 2″ of Wilton Pretzel Bag, folder over and staple shut. Adhere the Bag Topper using glue dots.
